We live in a high rise building in Main Beach and Paul’s team has been cleaning our unit for about two years since our previous cleaner retired. We are very pleased with the service. The cleaners are pleasant hard working and do a great job. They are not listening to music or talking and just get on with the job. We have had both Korean and Japanese cleaners and they are all good.We don’t need to supervise them or even be at home. They are always on time and completely trustworthy. They come every week. We would recommend them to anyone.

Paul and his cleaners were very professional. I had a detailed spring clean done in preparation for a fortnightly service. I don't think the house has been this clean since we bought it, they did a fantastic job! Paul himself was very attentive on our first meeting and easy to communicate with via text. I also really appreciated that Paul sent me a reminder two days before even though it was on a Saturday. I would certainly recommend their services.

They did not show up on the day I booked, Paul did not even apologies. Then they sent some staff all Korean. Paul is Korean who speaks Japanese pretending it is a Japanese based company but the staff can not understand Japanese language.

1. Exaggerated advertising: The website claims about Japanese efficiency and most of their teams consist of Japanese, but the cleaners sent to our place were not Japanese. 2. Poor communication and operation- Paul said 2 hours of cleaning will be done, which for normal people, sounds like the cleaners will stay and be cleaning for 2 hours, unless otherwise stated. My husband and I noticed one day that they actually stayed for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and there were some unclean spots, so we commented on the matter. It was when he finally told us that he meant 2 cleaners * 1 hour cleaning = 2 hours and even claimed that we could have been charged for the extra 15 minutes. Apart from the belated explanation, the duration did not actually matter to us as long as the house was clean. Since the cleaning outcome itself was satisfactory except for a few spots, in that context, my husband said to him "Okay, (you didn't let us know about it, but) it doesn't matter." and for some reason, Paul felt offended by it, creating another tiring miscommunication issue caused by his lack of English. Later in the long text messages he sent to me in his native language, he claimed that my husband should have apologised for saying it, which is difficult to understand. If anything, Paul should apologise for not letting us know in advance about the actual cleaning duration and for creating confusion. After all, we wouldn't even have brought it up if he had clearly communicated about the cleaning hours in the first place. - We asked Paul whether it was possible to change the cleaning date for this week to prepare for the inspection. He just said he would let us know and two days later, which was the day before their available day, he said that it is possible, but we should open the door for the cleaners because the team working on that day does not have our key. (We've already given the agency our key and it seemed that our usual team keeps the key, not the agency, which we found out later.)If it's how they operate, I understand. But, if he was a good communicator, instead of just saying "I will let you know" and making us wait for 2 days, he would have explained how the key management works and would have asked whether we still want to change the date. But he failed to explain it in advance, whether it was because he felt overwhelmed to explain everything in English to my husband or just lacked general communication skills.If we were told about the key situation on the day we inquired, then we would have sticked to the original date and there would not have been any problem.3. Poor customer serviceAbove all things, the most outrageous is that he believes we did something wrong. My husband felt tired of talking to him at this point and I took it from there. In the owner's long text messages written in his native language which I speak as well, all he said was that we were rude to comment on the hours and wrong to try to change the date. No apologies or whatsoever. He actually said that we were the ones who should say sorry.From a customer's perspective, it is not unreasonable to question the cleaning hours that we thought we paid for and it is not unreasonable to expect a little bit of flexibility. In fact, any of those would not even have become issues if he just had clearly communicated with us in the first place.Without realising his incapability of clear English communication or lack of general communication skills, he blamed us for what any customers could have reasonably done. Overall, it was very very tiring and difficult to communicate with the owner and could not find politeness from him which we expected from a Japanese cleaning agency they claim to be.

I have been using Paul's for over a year now. I've always been more than happy with the way my house is cleaned. The communication between the company and myself has been fantastic and I'm kept updated on when my team will be arriving or if there are any changes. I love coming home after they have been and smelling the eucalyptus. I honestly have no hesitations in recommending them. The rates are really reasonable and the cleaning teams are super lovely and professional.

I can highly recommend Paul and his team for consistently providing an excellent cleaning service and always being prompt and reliable. Their work is to a high standard and my house always smells amazing after they have been to clean (they use natural oils on the tiles which I really like).
